If you were part of Sydney's punk scene back in 1977 and hung out at Broadway's Grand Hotel, then you'd no doubt remember Rocks who along with bands like Johnny Dole and The Scabs, were in the first wave of Australian punk rock. Unlike most other bands from that era, Rocks continued to play throughout the 80's and the 90's with various lineup changes and through the years have shared the stage with the likes of The Boys Next Door, Jab, The Damned, Zeke and The Dropkick Murphys. Now they're about to play their first gig for 2003 and it marks the return of original bass player Steve Vanderschoot. You can catch them at the Vic On The Park on the 16th of August.
