THE BAND
What's the story behind the band name?

Once upon a time there was a band, they argued about over a zillion names until they agreed and tried to live happily ever after.

When did the band begin and how did it come about?
It began how they all began and came about on a huge pair of tits.

How would you describe your sound to the avarage joe on the street?
Intelligent kick ass shit.

What's your current release? Tell us a little about it...
It's called ''Bull Fight In Mexico'' It's a 5 song EP available Feb 11th. You put it in a cd player and sound comes out.

What image do you think/hope your music conveys?
Freedom, truth and honour?

In 5 years time the band will be...
5 years older, 5 times bigger, 5 times more talanted and 5 times richer.

OFF THE STAGE
What was your 1st introduction to music that made u seriously think about playing it?

Seeing Alice Cooper on The Muppet Show as a kid.

What was your first band and what style did you play?
My first band was called ''the smoochy woochies'' i got the name off the movie Clerks but when i rewatched it later i realised jay said ''smoochies noochies'' but i'd allready name it and we were playin gigs by then it was weird ass warped acoustic shit.

Tell us three albums you couldn’t live without in your collection
Frank Zappa ''chungas revenge''
Portishead '' dummy''
Lil John & The Eastside Boys ''kings of crunk''

The thing you least look forward to before a tour is
lack of privacy and sleep.

When your not doing band related stuff your usually found doing?
Right now i'm in production of my 1st film, drawing a new comic book and spell checking a manuscript on a novel i've written that i want to publish.

ON THE STAGE / ROAD

Melbourne - groupies

mutual.

After a week in the van / bus on tour which band member will have the messiest section and what would we most likely find stashed there?
Hands down kane and i don't even wanna know whats there.

Who in your group has the worst bad habit on tour and what is it?
Again kane hes gonna kill me 4 sayin this but its true he has a foot odour issue and thinks its cool for everyone else to put up with it he constantly walks around with his shoes off.

Most embarrassing moment on tour?
There is no embarresment on my tours only proud moments.

Give us a good quick ‘on the road’ story, funny, embarrassing, memorable, whatever…
played up in byron on new years day at the beats on the beach festival and hooked up with this chick dressed like a cat. She had the ears, tail and everything. I met her when she dived in my lap pilling off her chops while i was drunk off mine... i didn't have to do a thing, it was fantastic.

Your manager calls and says the venue you are about to play really wants to keep you happy, what’s the first thing you chuck on the rider?
his wife.

RIGHT NOW
Whats getting the most spins in your stereo right now?

David bourkes 'lindelman chronicles', machine gun felatios ''bring it on'', Notorious b.i.g's ''life after death'' and lotsa motley crue.

Tell us a band or artist everyone should check out and why
David bourke, he has two very different styled albums out... ''emotions gemini'' is a great artie weirdoe pop art spastic album.. original as fuck, it sounds like nothing and if you don't have a record player don't even bother because he has only released it on record yet i bought a record player specifically to here it and wasn't disappointed. His other album ''The lindelman chronicles'' is a deep record with great songs hes a talented songwriter, artist and creative force 2 be reckoned with and most importantly honest, pure and real.

If you could change one thing about the music industry what would it be?
before bands do a photo shoot and record a demo and play a gig they should 1st learn the craft of songwriting, not just write the first 6 songs they have and play gigs thinking they are gonna change the world with their ignorance and lack of talent. Bands should first write 40 songs at least before they ever play live ever to spare audiences ears from amatuer crap. Learning the craft of songwriting before you play is the utmost most important thing a band can do before they ever even consider playing live, knowing whats a good song, a shit song, or a great song and being honest and 100 percent about your own material is so very very important and learning to get over the everything i do is the best attitude, there is always room for improvement and ego is fine but should only be implemented once you have earned it through hard work detemination and persistance, which is what takes a band from the ok catergory to the great category.

As soon as i've finished answering these questions i'm about to.....
read a book.
