Mat Rabbit gave it to us. When did the band begin and how did it come about? Mid 2006, with our first guitarist Xmas, who left March 2007 and was replaced by Aaron to complete the line up. How would you describe your sound to the average Joe on the street? We play both kinds of music, country and western What’s your current release? Tell us a little about it… It’s a 6 track E.P called ‘IV. Eat Not The Heart’, its our debut release and it is out on Rabbit Records and is distributed by Poison City Records What image do you think / hope your music conveys? I don’t know about image…We just hope we write music that we like. In five years time the band will be… Playing Tamworth Country Music Festival. OFF THE STAGE What was your first introduction to music that made you think seriously about playing it? I was 11, I got a guitar, I loved Nirvana. What was your first band name and what style did you play? We were called Mario Speedwagon, we played very fast and sang very badly. The thing you least look forward to before a tour is Playing new places, meeting new people. When your not doing band related stuff, what are you usually found doing? Cutting sick, mostly. ON THE STAGE / ROAD What gear do you use? Fender Mustang. Orange AD30. MI Audio Blues Boy Deluxe. The best show you’ve ever played was… and why? Maybe Bouncing Souls, that was just rad. Or The Black Market show…Toby, crotch patch! Who hogs the stereo in the van the most? Burgs After a week in the van/bus on tour which band member will have the messiest section, and what would we most likely find stashed there? Burgs, random objects from sleepwalking adventures. Who in your group has the worst “bad habit” on tour, and what is it? Aaron, cause he doesn’t smoke weed. Most embarrassing moment on tour? Playing on stage with Xmas, I’m the only one who thinks he is funny. Give us a good quick ‘on the road’ story, funny, embarrassing, memorable, whatever… Tim Barry filmed Robin smoking a bong for the Avail DVD. Your manager calls and says the venue you are about to play really wants to keep you happy, what’s the first thing you chuck on the rider? All types of milkshakes.
