Pitt The Elder have sprung from Melbourne’s punk rock scene with their debut single ‘Who’s on First‘. Give it a stream [Here]. Guitarist Shaun Scanlan and drummer Matt Yates cut their teeth playing in the punk band Aitches, where their the sound resonated strongly and scored them a spot on Soundwave’s 2012 line up as Triple J’s Unearthed Soundwave competition winners. That band disbanded earlier this year, and now Scanlan & Yates have emerged with this new outfit joined by vocalist Emma Thulborn and bassist Jai Kennett.
