The Amity Affliction’s ‘Youngbloods’ goes Gold & vinyl reissue
on August 25th, 2014Just over four years since the release of The Amity Affliction’s breakthrough album ‘Youngbloods‘, the album has been certified Gold with sales of over 35,000 copies. At the time of release on June 18th, 2010, the Gympie-via-Brisbane band surprised the Australian music industry by debuting their second album at #6 on the ARIA Charts, the highest ever debut for a hardcore band at the time (tying with Parkway Drive’s – ‘Horizons’). They went from playing 200 capacity clubs to headlining shows in outdoor auditoriums, and wowed thousands of fans at Soundwave 2011 with their iconic late afternoon sets. The band has gone on to achieve great heights, including two #1 albums (both are also Gold records), worldwide headlining tours and they are about to head out this week on their biggest Australian headline tour to date, with all shows already sold out. To celebrate the album’s Gold status, UNFD will be releasing a second vinyl pressing of ‘Youngbloods‘ in 5 limited edition colour options and standard black vinyl. Set a reminder for 4pm Friday 12th September to head to 24Hundred.net and grab one. Expand this post to see the colour options.
