Between recording the third LP with his band, touring the world and more recently, an inspired collaboration with TZU’s Joelistics, Wil Wagner has announced a tour of his own in celebration of a new forthcoming solo 12″/ EP, to be released later this year via Poison City. Before returning to Europe and the UK, Wagner will set off across the country on his only solo tour for the year, bringing talented young Melbourne musician Georgia Maq along for the ride, on her most extensive tour to date. The daughter of musician Hugh McDonald of folk-rock group Redgum, Maq grew up surrounded by music and destined for a life on stage. Those dreams are slowly becoming a reality with the release of her debut 7″ ‘With A Q‘ via Jackknife Music. Tickets for the tour are available today. Expand this post for the dates and venues.
Update: Melbourne has sold out, a second show has been announced for Tuesday 9th September and is on sale now.
