Paramore will release their new self-titled album locally on April 5th. The album follows up 2009’s ‘Brand New Eyes‘, which debuted at #1 on the ARIA chart and has reached platinum sales here in Australia. Album number four was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnson, known for his work with such diverse artists as Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Tegan and Sara, and M83. The first single from the album is titled ‘Now’ and will be premiered shortly. “The whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends,” the band wrote. “It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, as people! Sincerely, we feel that the best way to give it a name is just to call it what it is. This album is us.” The band return to Australia in February and March as part of the Soundwave Festival. They also play an already sold out headline show at Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Thursday 21st February. You can pre-order the album on CD [Here].
