THE BAND
How did the band first come to exist? In late 2006, Teru (Program/Vision), Kazuki (Guitar) and I wanted to form Metalcore band and we’ve searching the drummer who could play with twin pedal. One day, I went to school and heard someone playing drums extremely like what I’ve never heard. That guy is our drummer Tatsuya, then we formed Crossfaith.
How long has the band been going? Almost 6 years.
Any particular story behind the name? Crossfaith means that each person has their very own faith and these are crossing as a band.
What’s your most recent release? Tell us a little about it… We’ve just released our latest record “ZION EP” in your country through Halfcut Records. This EP was produced by Machine who worked with Lamb Of God, The Amity Affliction and many more. I promise you this will blow your mind!
Got a personal stand out achievement of your band to date? Canadinan famous rap-core band “MANAFEST” invited me to do guest vocal for his song, that was my amazing experience.

OFF THE STAGE
What was your first introduction to music that made you think seriously about playing it? In 2004, I went to Summer Sonic and watched Green Day, their show changed my life.
Any particular band / album or song that you personally credit as a major influence? Slipknot “People = Shit”.
Your first band name, and what style did you play? My first band called “DiCLAY” and we did Nu-metal ages ago. I used to be like Fred Durst. Haha
Most prized music related item you own? My precious item is AAA pass for Machine Head show. We played with them, Hatebreed, Bleeding Through at the same time.
When you’re not doing band related stuff, what are you usually found doing? Hanging out and drinking hard with my friends.
The thing you most look forward to just before a tour is… Eating some local food! haha
The thing you least look forward to before a tour is… I’m so stoked to hang out with the band who we are touring with.

ON THE STAGE
When on offer, what’s your one must have item on the rider? Monster Energy Drink.
Favourite place you’ve toured, and why? London becase I love UK’s terrible weather and there’s tonnes of pubs! I’d love to love in London if possible! Haha
Most memorable show you’ve played? and why? It might be “Loud Park 2009”. Which is our first experience for being on rock festival and we played in front of over 3,000 people. That was absolutely insane!
Got a favourite song to play live? Monolith!
Any embarrassing on stage moments come to mind? Slipping on the stage. Haha
Any pre-show rituals? Drinking beer!
What do you find is the hardest aspect of touring in a band today? Especially hard for me, I can’t drink too much on the tour cause alcohol is not good for my throat at all, so rest of the boys always party hard instead of me.

RIGHT NOW
Last song you listened to? Lower Than Atlantis, “High At Five”.
Last album you acquired? South Central “Weapons Of Mass Dubstortion”.
Which band or album is currently on high rotation? Lower Than Atlantis “Word Record”.
Tell us an up and coming band or artist you think we should go and listen to right now? Don Broco!
What’s on the cards for the next few months for the band? We’re currently writing new songs for our new record.

IF ONLY…
You can pick any one album for your band to cover in full, what would it be and why? Linkin Park “Hybrid Theory” because it’s our musical roots.
You can pick any one band / artist to cover one of your albums in full, what would it be, and why? Chase & Status. I personally would love to hear if they’ll cover and add more drum n’ bass / electro sounds and doing rap not shout.
One band you wish you were able to see live but never had the chance? The Beatles.
One venue you have yet to play that you would love to? Wembley Stadium!
The chance comes up to fill in for a member of a band for one tour, which band would it be, and why? The Prodigy, cause I want to do screaming and dancing with Keith Flint!
A headline tour overseas comes up, tell us two bands you’d take along to support your band. Slipknot and Of Mice & Men.
