Deceiver detail their self titled debut album
on August 29th, 2011Formed from ex-members of The War, Strength Through Purity, Sink Or Swim, Crime Scene and Before The Throne, Queensland outfit Deceiver released a demo six months ago, which has kept them busy, and earned them attention from various corners of the hardcore scene. The band will release their ten track, self-titled debut on October 14th through Dogfight Records. Guest vocals come from Vincent Bennet (The Acacia Strain) and Bruce Lepaige (ex-100 Demons). “We wanted to write stuff that the kid who loves to move can move to, and the dude who wants to stand and the back with his mates can bob his head to. We wanted to make the heavy bits heavy and the chorus parts catchy…We wanted to write a record that we would want to listen to and that we would be proud to put our names to.” says vocalist Mitch.
