Before they embark on a national tour with Calling All Cars next month, Melbourne rock outfit Redcoats are set to release their debut self titled EP next Friday 29th July. Taking influence from Kyuss, Black Sabbath and Black Mountain, the band formed in 2007 and gradually stamped their mark on the Melbourne scene and have since toured with Stone Temple Pilots, played Pyramid Rock Festival and a host of shows around the traps. The EP was recorded at Birdlands Studio with Rob Long and Lindsay Gravina and features their ‘Dreamshaker‘ single first released back in March. Second single ‘Kay Trucker‘ has just been released. Click below to expand this post and watch the video for ‘Dreamshaker‘ if you are yet to check it out, and re-cap the tour dates. Pre-Orders of the EP are available [Here] for $8.99 including postage, and a free download of the track ‘Giants‘ is available [Here].
