After nine years, three releases and hundreds of live shows, Sydney’s MM9 have announced that the band is calling it a day. They have cited an inability to “pour 100% of our hearts and souls into the music we’re making” and the fact that “as individuals, we’re heading in different directions,” as the reason for the decision. While maintaining a tireless schedule of touring throughout 2008, 2009 and 2010, MM9 released their first full length album ‘The Air Between‘ in March of 2010. “To all of you, please accept our deepest appreciation for your support through all of these years. We’ll miss you more than you’ll ever know. Thank you all…again and again…thank you. Ben, Dan, Luke & Kerry – Many Machines on Nine” For the full statement from the band, head to their page [Here].
