Sydney DIY Label Lost Boy Records has announced a re-issue of the Split 7″ between Camp Cope’s Georgia Maq, and Paper Thin’s Spencer Scott.

This split was originally released in 2015 – before either of them had started their respective bands.

To celebrate the release, the full split will also finally be available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other digital platforms – something the pair didn’t think to do the first time around. They’ve also given it a fancy new cover; a photo of them taken by Lost Boy Records owner Olly before a Courtney Barnett show.

Not long after the release of this split, Maq would form the band Camp Cope. The trio’s self-titled debut album made them fans around the globe, and won them critical acclaim and they most recently headlined a show at The Forum in Melbourne and announced their 2nd album ‘How To Socialise & Make Friends‘.

Scott has a long history of performing as a solo artist; having supported everyone from David Le’aupepe (Gang Of Youths) to Dead Kennedys. His band Paper Thin formed in the middle of 2016, and already have two EPs under their belt, and support slots for the likes of Japandroids, Ceres, and The Hard Aches.

To celebrate the release, the two will play intimate solo shows in Sydney, Newcastle, and Melbourne.

Dog Dirt will be opening the show at The Record Crate in Sydney. Rachel Maria Cox will be performing solo in Newcastle at The Hamilton Station Hotel and Kelso will be opening the free entry show at The Reverence Hotel in Melbourne.

Pre-orders of the 2nd press of this Split 7” (on Red Vinyl) are available through lostboyrecords.com. Tickets to Sydney and Newcastle are on sale now via Oztix.
