LICH KING AND HIDDEN INTENT TEAM UP FOR OZ TOUR
US thrashers Lich King will tour our region for the first time belting out grade-A, unapologetically straight-forward thrash metal in the vein of the 80’s Bay Area bands such as Exodus, Slayer, and Vio-lence. To date, the band has released five critically acclaimed full-length albums, each of which feature fast, headbangable riffs in modern stomp anthems and a sometimes comedic yet always violent songwriting sensibility.

Joining the ride is Adelaide’s thrash bangers Hidden Intent. Like the riotous music they play, the band have been carving their way through the masses with their unabashedly unapologetic ‘80s-throwback thrash metal, a form of music that wholly embraces its American and European roots in the Bay Area, Scandinavian and Teutonic thrash scenes.

DRUG CHURCH SIGN WITH PURE NOISE RECORDS
Drug Church have released the first taste of their upcoming Pure Noise Records debut LP.

Singer Patrick comments;

Drug Church is proud to announce it’s birthed another alt-rock classic in the form of the new single ‘Weed Pin.’ The track is a mid-tempo monster jam about being unhireable. Recorded with Jon Markson, ‘Weed Pin’ is a taste of what listeners will be getting on the band’s first LP from Pure Noise Records.

Following a mid-80s blueprint of moving to LA to be sucked into the fast life, Drug Church has left its Albany origins in the rearview. Now experiencing the inability to make rent on a whole new level, the band is producing its best material to date.
