SUBLIME BEER LANDS IN SYDNEY
Sublime fans will have no doubt seen the recent release of an AleSmith Sublime Mexican Lager in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their album ‘40oz To Freedom‘.

A limited shipment has landed in Sydney and local fans can snap up a six pack, or a case of this special drop.

As Mexican-style lagers are a favorite beer style of the band, AleSmith has brewed a beer that showcases a grainy, malt-forward sweetness and easy drinkability. Clean and crisp with subdued hop bitterness to balance, makes Sublime Mexican Lager the go-to beer for hot Summer days, the beach, your backyard BBQ, or of course, before your favorite concert.

You can pick it up in three Sydney locations while stocks last. Give them a buzz before heading in to ensure there is still some left. If you are interstate and interested in a six pack, or more, give them a call on one of the numbers below to get a quote on freight. Or you can buy from these eBay listings for a full case [Here] or half case [Here].

In store, a six pack will set you back $29.99, while a full case is $109.99. See some more info on the beer itself [Here].

SWINGIN’ UTTERS BEST OF COMPILATION ON THE WAY
Swingin’ Utters have long been a staple of the San Francisco Bay Area punk scene. On December 8th, in celebration of the band’s three decades, Fat Wreck Chords will release ‘Drowning In The Sea, Rising With The Sun‘, a 33-song best-of compilation that serves as a testament to their peerless punk rock attack.

Available for pre-order now [Here], this anthology touches on every era of Swingin’ Utters — from their 1995 debut album ‘The Streets of San Francisco‘, all the way up to 2014’s ‘Fistful of Hollow‘.

For the uninitiated, ‘Drowning In the Sea, Rising With The Sun‘, offers a cohesive rundown on a band that’s impossible to sum up. While there are plenty of gut-level punk songs, you’ll also find tracks that incorporate roots music and folk traditions… all of which speaks to the band’s blue-collar ethos.

SOUTH BERKELEY RELEASE ‘TINY RASCALS’ VIDEO
French pop-punk band South Berkeley have premiered a video clip for their new single, ‘Tiny Rascals‘.

Taking influence from the likes of Blink-182 and Boxcar Racer, this is the band’s first release on the France / Germany based independent label Krod Records.

Check out the new video clip below.

DZ DEATHRAYS REVEAL NEW SINGLE ‘TOTAL MELTDOWN’
DZ Deathrays’ new single ‘Total Meltdown‘ was revealed overnight along with the name and release date of their third LP. Titled ‘Bloody Lovely‘, the pair’s follow up to ‘Black Rat‘ will be released on Friday 2nd February.

The band will play an exclusive free show at Melbourne’s Cherry Bar this Saturday 4th November supported by Press Club. Walk ups only, first in best dressed!

To couple with the release of ‘Total Meltdown‘, which can be streamed below, the band collaborated with director Guss Mallmann to create an innovative Instagram Story quiz in which viewers must try to guess the lyrics of the song. Follow @dzdeathrays Instagram story now to see it.

It took about 6 attempts at a chorus until we came up with what it is now, which is why the lyrics in the chorus have nothing to do with those in the verse. It’s a little disjointed lyrically but it’s become a big anthem of the new record and a favourite of ours!

GIVER – ‘SHOCK OF THE FALL’ VIDEO CLIP
German hardcore band Giver are set to release their debut album in early 2018 via Holy Roar Records & PowerTrip Records.

You can check out a taste of it with a new video clip for the single ‘Shock Of The Fall‘ now streaming below.
