Regarding the track Justin Hawkins says,
“This song has genuine realness in it, innit. Dan and I had to endure the Southern Trains “services” during the making of this album. The only difference between a normal day on Southern Trains and a day when they’re all on strike, is that on strike day the ArseClownery is deliberate. They are utterly incapable of running a reliable service. Fact. The rest of the world is laughing at us. I hope this song goes some way towards facilitating change…“
Their forthcoming album ‘Pinewood Smile‘, is out on October 6th. Watch the video for the new song below.
The band have just added six new shows to their run of dates, taking the tour to a total of 12 shows.

As described by director Shayne Ehman, the visual depicts a sphere where;
“consciousness is split, and a world of contrast unfolds. The resulting disembodiment disperses one’s spatial awareness and new kinds of empathy develop. Two become three, and it’s only half the story.“
Their new album, ‘Strange Peace‘ is available now on Sub Pop via Inertia Music.

‘Positively Hopeless‘ is a track about the challenges of everyday anxieties and insecurities accompanied by nostalgic pop guitar tones and the most uplifting two part harmonies; it’s surf pop with a twist of gothic Americana.
Give it a run below. Swim Team and Lazertits launch their new split 7-inch at The Old Bar in Melbourne on Saturday October 7th.
The band will release their fifth album, ‘Cold Like War‘ on October 20th through SharpTone Records.
In their expansive tenure as a band, they’ve released four full-length releases, charted #8, #11 and #21 respectively on the Billboard Top 200, performed in five continents and 40 different countries and have big plans ahead for touring the new album.
“Cold Like War is about struggle, those trials. They can turn us towards each other, towards those we love, towards those who have supported us. Because the last two years to us have felt like this giant war—an internal war—to figure out the right path for our band… to figure out how to stay together and be happy again.“
