Perth indie punk trio Lionizer have just released the first single off their upcoming debut album, ‘New Parts of Me‘.

Titled ‘Violent Delights‘, the song is a tour de force of blood, sweat and body parts, dealing heavily with the struggles around bipolar disorder, depression and self-destructive tendencies, as well as decrying the rise of call-out culture.

Beneath its raucous exterior, ‘Violent Delights‘ is honest and sincere in asking you to examine yourself and your decisions, to not give in to the expectations of a broken society and to stand up for what you believe.

We all deal with insecurity, suicidal ideation, self hate and self harm, but this band and this album focuses on the hope that things can be better, that there is still something worth dragging yourself out of bed for, that you don’t have to buy into the shitty expectations of society.
