The EP will feature four previously unreleased songs taken from the sessions for their ‘Once More Round the Sun‘ and ‘Emperor of Sand‘ albums.
‘Steambreather‘ is one of those tracks from the ‘Emperor of Sand‘ sessions. Check out a video clip below.
The group features Cameron Boucher, Adam and Charlie Singer of soon to be Australian visitors Sorority Noise, as well as Marissa D’Elia on vocals.
They are set to release their debut album, ‘Cyclical‘ on September 8th via Flower Girl Records.

Today they can reveal local punk band Heavy Lids & Wollongong rock duo Los Pintar will be joining them for the night.

You can also catch Le Butcherettes supporting At The Drive In on 28th September at Festival Hall in Melbourne, 29th September at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, 1st October at Yours & Owls Festival in Wollongong and 2nd October at Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane again with ATDI. “Musically, artistically and in general content both CDs will be radically different from each other: the first part plunges the listener into a dark and depressive atmosphere of doom metal in its various shapes, the second one is an acoustic melancholy, which will envelop you with a blanket of autumnal gloom and sad beauty.“
In the lead up they have shared a 360° lyric video for the song, ‘Triptych: Shiver, Shelter, Shatter‘. The song features special guest vocalists: Daniel Neagoe (Clouds, Eye Of Solitude, Shape Of Despair), Patryk Zwoliński (Progma-C, ex-Blindead, ex-Neolithic) & Jón Aldará (Hamferd, Barren Earth, Clouds).
