‘I’m Losing You (Evie Part 3)‘ tells the final story of a relationship that began as teenagers and ends, sadly in this track, with the death of Evie after child birth. It’s a twist on the boy meets girl, boy falls in love, girl breaks up with boy story that we often see in movies and teen angst books.
The Resignators attempt to catch Stevie Wright’s energy whilst flavouring the track in their own unique way they say is “a tribute, it’s not a cover.”
Check out the video below. The band are currently in the UK, but upon their return will launch the new album at Cherry Bar in Melbourne on Friday 8th September.
They have recently shared the album’s second single ‘Stuck‘ via a video clip directed by Troll Toftenes which can be seen below.
Album pre-orders are available [Here], and if you missed it, a video for the first single, ‘From The Flame‘ can be viewed [Here].
Joining them will be friends Gladstone, As A Rival, Under The Cut & Hammock District.
“First off and most importantly. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts to every single person that came out to a show, stuck around, had a dance and possibly even withstood the worst hangover the following day. Gosh darn it, We recognize and really appreciate it. To all the awesome bands, we’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with. It’s amazing how many new people we’ve met and formed such strong friendships with along the way. It’s what this is all about. It really does feel like a big family.“
