News Bits & Pieces

DIPLOMA RELEASE ‘LAURALIE’
Melbourne’s Diploma have released a video clip for their single ‘Lauralie‘.

The track appears on their debut EP ‘The Cost Of Clarity‘ released earlier this year. The energetic five piece punk band pull their members from Australia, Canada and New Zealand and take influence from the likes of Moneen, Clowns and Kitsch.

It was recorded and mixed by Gareth Leach at The Song Lounge and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.

You can stream / purchase the EP on Bandcamp [Here]. Watch the new video below.

M1LDL1FE SHARE SECOND SINGLE FROM NEW EP
Singapore indie-pop band, M1LDL1FE have released a new track ‘How You Forget‘. This is the band’s second single from their upcoming self-titled EP, due out July 28th.

A song about how we treat memories of the people we love, this slow-burning number’s instrumentation reflects its pensive lyrical themes. “The idea for the song came about when I found myself not being able to remember some my moments with an ex-lover. It was as if those moments never existed. And I found it strange that for someone with whom at the time you felt so connected to, someone you allowed inside your walls, memories with them you would think be permanent, yet you cannot seem to remember most of it.

You can stream the new single below. Last month, M1LDL1FE debuted the music video for first single, ‘Distraction‘. Watch it [Here] if you missed it.

AMBULARE RELEASE NEW EP ON VINYL
Originally conceived in Sydney’s west, Ambulare was the idea of three brothers David (guitar/vocals), Chris (Bass) and Pat (drums) who shared a love of music. After playing shows throughout Sydney and releasing their debut self-titled EP, a new drummer Anthony took the place of the Pat on drums.

Last week saw Ambulare launch their new EP on vinyl at Beatdisc Records in Parramatta. They recorded the EP at home and mixed themselves, mastered was done in the US by Carl Saff.

They have pressed 150 copies of the album on vinyl which can be purchased at their shows and is also available on Bandcamp digitally. Stream it below.

Those upcoming shows include The Lass O’Gowrie in Newcastle on August 11th, followed by Valve Bar in Sydney on September 3rd and The Front Gallery in Canberra on October 7th.

FULL STRIKE RELEASE NEW EP
Indonesian hardcore band Full Strike recently their EP entitled ‘Where Does The Wind Come From?‘ via Profan Records.

A video clip for the song ‘For The Hopeless People‘ featuring both live and in studio footage can be viewed [Here]. You can stream the EP in full below and purchase via Bandcamp.

JUSTICE FOR THE DAMNED RELEASE NEW SINGLE
Sydney heavy outfit Justice For The Damned have shared another taste of their upcoming album, with the new single ‘No Flowers On Your Grave‘, featuring Jazmine Luders of Perth’s Cursed Earth on vocals.

At last we are now able to let everyone hear one of the most unrelenting tracks off of our upcoming album. We can safely say that this is one we’ve been rather anxious to show everyone as it is one of our favourite songs. A lyrically turbulent song, it tells the tale of the crushing sadness we feel when watching someone you love deeply turn their back on you so carelessly. On this song we invited one of our dearest friends, Jazmine Luders to join us in a fierce lyrical movement and we’re sure everyone will agree with us in saying that she absolutely nailed it. We hope everyone enjoys it just as much as we do.

Their debut album ‘Dragged Through The Dirt‘ will be available on Vinyl, CD, and Digital from August 11th, with pre-orders available [Here].
