Not long to go now until the latest edition of Chopdog’s Harbour Cruise in Sydney.

Watching cover bands never really seems that exciting until you’ve seen a bunch on a 4-hour voyage of Sydney Harbour. For the second time this year, you can get on board for a rock / punk / ska filled soundtrack as you cruise across the harbour busting out sing-a-longs, downing good food, beer and great times on Saturday October 22nd from 12-4pm.

This time around, Melbourne’s The Kujo Kings have been tasked with performing Streetlight Manifesto’s ‘Everything Went Numb‘ from start to finish.

Sydney’s The Great Awake will be taking on ‘Everything Sucks‘ by Descendents… you will be singing along.

Newly formed Sydney locals STFU will be covering the covers… as they tackle selections from the works of Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and to round it off, an all-star band Oldfinger will be smashing out a bunch of Goldfinger classics.

Meanwhile up on the rooftop acoustic arena, Newcastle local Spencer Scott will be serving up Brand New covers. Jae Haydon & Brad Colley will bust out a stack of 90’s punk covers for you to work out your lungs to, Ivan Drago’s Bren K Turner will have a crack at ‘Love, Ire & Song‘ by Frank Turner, while Koby Geddes of Dividers runs through The Decline by NOFX.

A selection of Sydney’s best food trucks will be serving up the treats on level 2.

The first batch of no booking fee tickets were snapped up in a flash, now the rest are be available for $43+ booking fee through Oztix. There will be no door sales, and being a boat, capacity is obviously strictly limited.

Don’t have the cash to splurge? We’ve got a few double passes to help you get on board, or shout some mates if you are already sorted.

You (and your friend) will need to be 18+, and the boat will depart from Star City Casino wharf, and you’ll need to be there by 11:15am to grab your wristband and ensure the boat doesn’t leave without you. It won’t wait for stragglers.

To enter, simply shoot an e-mail to [email protected] – subject “Cruise tix”, and in 25-30 words let us know why you should be let on board. Get your entry in before end of Wednesday 12th October. Winners will be contacted via return e-mail to get your postal address to send tickets.
