Paul Dempsey has unveiled the live studio video for ‘Strange Loop‘, from his recently released album of the same name.
A crowd favourite in his live set, ‘Strange Loop‘ demonstrates Paul’s lyrical flair. Describing the song, he says;
“It is intended as a bit of a wry smile and an extended middle finger to the ‘self-help’ gurus… it’s a raucous celebration of being flawed and fallible and not really giving a shit about the so-called ‘true self’ or ‘the real you’ etc… and it turns into a 70’s cop show at the end.“
The video, recorded live at Melbourne’s Sing Sing Studios, was directed by Alex Badham, who handled Director duties on the ‘Morningless‘ and ‘Idiot Oracle‘ music videos, also from the ‘Strange Loop‘ album.

Just announced this week, Paul will join the line up of live performers on the Melbourne Zoo series, taking the stage with his band on Friday 17th February.
Ahead of this February date, Paul will be heading off to India to take part in theBacardi NH7 Weekender Festival in Pune, December 2–4. From there he heads to London to play Bush Hall on December 7th.
The album ‘Strange Loop‘ is out now on EMI Music Australia.
