Nine months in the making, Verge Collection’s debut EP ‘Open Plan Living‘ was released over the weekend via Gun Fever.
Featuring four new tracks produced by Andy Lawson at Debaser Studios (The Sleepy Jackson, Tired Lion), the EP follows the success of debut single ‘Our Place‘.
Lead track ‘Eye Opener‘ eases you into the record with a Dandy Warhols swagger, followed by the up-beat pop anthem ‘Class Of ’09‘, the cheeky hillbilly flavoured live favourite ‘Too Much About You‘ and finally the closer ‘Postcodes‘, a cynical take on modern romance, drenched in slide guitar and a refrain that will stay in your head for days.
Listen below.
Verge Collection launched the EP in Sydney over the weekend and will play a hometown launch at The Bird in Perth on Saturday 22nd October.
