Melbourne prog metal outfit Acolyte have today released their debut album ‘Shades of Black‘.
Acolyte dropped into the studio during November 2014 to record what became ‘Shades of Black‘. They worked over the tracks with producer Ben Ehrenberg (Shihad, Calling all Cars).
Tour dates will follow very soon, but Acolyte will launch the record with a hometown show in Melbourne at the Evelyn Hotel tonight alongside Lung, Ten Thousand and Headtorch. Tickets $15 at the door from 8pm.
Vocalist Morgan-Leigh Brown comments;
“This is the biggest event of the bands lives… of my life. We have put tireless hours of blood, sweat and tears (literally) into making this a possibility. The album has been in the making for a very long time. It contains so much of each of us.“
