Melbourne Punk outfit Foxtrot have announced the surprise release of their 2nd full-length album ‘Habitats‘, which is available right now from Jackknife Music on Vinyl and as a digital download.
The new album features 11 tracks that showcase the full scale of the band – from all out aural assaults, to more measured emotional tracks; songs that were refined on stages across Melbourne are realised in full on ‘Habitats‘.
To celebrate the release of their album, Foxtrot are hitting the road to bring their visceral live performance to the people of Australia. The nine-date tour will see the band hit the East Coast of the country, including appearances at Party Party Part Sea in Adelaide, and The Reverence Hotel’s 4th Birthday Party.
Joining them on the tour will be fellow Melburnians Foley!.
Since forming in 2010, Foxtrot have become stalwarts of the Melbourne punk scene. Last year they completed a national tour with The Bennies, and have also supported the likes of Basement, Off With Their Heads, The Aquabats, and The Hotelier. They’ve graced the stages of Poison City Weekender and Gingerfest.
‘Habitats‘ was recorded with Sam Johnson at Holes and Corners Studio.
