Young 3 piece alt rock band from Newcastle In Motion are nearing the release of their debut EP ‘Change‘.
Set to be released on Friday 3rd June, the EP will also be launched live on the same night when they play The Lass O’Gowrie in Newcastle.
After coming away as winners of Youth Rock in Sydney in 2015, In Motion hit the studio in December to lay down these songs at Main Street Studios in Wollongong with Adam Jordan (Nick Oliviri – QOTSA, The Vanns) and sent it off to be mastered by by Tony ‘Jack the Bear’ Mantz (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Kisschasy, Something for Kate).
The first single, ‘My Kind of Woman‘ can be streamed below. A video clip for the track will be released soon.

Before the official launch, you can catch the band supporting The Sea Gypsies, Midnight People and Arcades & Lions at the Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle on Friday 27th May.
