Adelaide’s West Thebarton Brothel Party have sharerd a video clip for their recently released single, ‘Red or White‘.

Directed and edited by Lewis Brideson, he explains the story behind the video;

Between scratching away at that wall of monotonous to-dos and stepping into your head to tear it down, the film clip for ‘Red or White’ walks a line somewhere between the sane and insane. It’s the trap for a twenty-something reflecting on the drab and dreary. It’s oozing red and relentless rhythm cuts, chopped through the squalor of a writhing subconscious.

Watch it below.

WATCH

West Thebarton Brothel Party combine a fuzz-heavy four-pronged guitar attack with a rumbling three-part rhythm section to deliver chaotic garage rock reminiscent of Radio Birdman and The Sunnyboys.

This new single ‘Red or White‘ was recorded with Alistair Wells at Grinch Records and mastered by Steve Smart at 301, capturing the energy of their live show.

You can catch the band launching the single across a series of shows in the coming weeks, including a spot on the SA leg of Groovin’ The Moo on Monday April 25th.

Next month they play Victoria and New South Wales before the big A Day Of Clarity event in Adelaide on May 21st. They’ll play the Exeter Beer Garden on that free, multi-venue festival.
