Fresh from touring with The Snowdroppers and The Hard Aches, The Strums are heading out for a run of dates on their own in support of a new single titled ‘Bare Hands‘.
With a recent line-up change, bringing bassist, long time best mate and avid supporter Helen Stringer into the fold, The Strums are forging a new direction, getting back to their punk rock roots that kindled their love of music.
‘Bare Hands‘ is a lament for failing relationships, and a rally cry for letting go. The single sees them working with Alex Markwell (The Delta Riggs) taking care of producing and mixing and Brian Lucey (The Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys) looking after the mastering.
The single will be released on Friday 15th April. It can be pre-ordered on iTunes [Here].
The tour to launch it will see them play headline shows in Sunshine Coast, Melbourne and Brisbane, while supporting The Ruminaters in Sydney and Richie Ramone in Byron Bay. Dates and venues below.
