California’s Being As An Ocean will return to Australia in May for their first headlining tour of the country since 2013, and in tow will be Perth band Saviour and Melbourne’s Void Of Vision.

They’ll play shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth in support of a forthcoming full length from which the first taste, ‘Dissolve‘ was recently revealed, along with their signing to Equal Vision Records.

Check it out below.

WATCH

The new single was recorded in Atlanta, GA at Glow In The Dark Studios with producer Matt McCllellan (Better Off, Capsize).

‘Dissolve’ has been about 3-4 months in the making, being written over one of our longest timelines, and we think it is one of our best yet. We, simply, have never had the time to make something this special before, and I think it really shows. Working with Matt McClellan, now for the third time, was a breeze. We click so well with him on a personal and musical level, we consider him a brother/family. Recording with him is always such a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I think that shines through, as well. It really aides the whole process, and I know it just wouldn’t be the same going to anyone else.

Following on from their surprise reformation in October 2015 – a mere 18 months after initially pulling the pin on what was shaping up to be a hugely successful year – Perth five-piece Saviour were considered one of the country’s most promising with the release of their acclaimed album ‘First Light To My Death Bed‘ in 2013. A few tweaks, and the band are now back in business.

Rounding up the lineup is Melbourne’s Void Of Vision who continue to tour in support of their debut EP ‘Broken // Bones‘.

Tickets on sale this Friday 11th March at 9am local time.
