The complete line-up for The Hills Are Alive! #8 has just been announced and for the first time in the event’s history a limited allocation of tickets has been made available to the general public.

First things first… joining the already impressive line-up which includes Ngaiire, Bad //Dreams, The Belligerents and Fraser A Gorman are Adelaidian ‘solid rockers’ Grenadiers, Melbourne rising electronic/indie act Running Touch, the self-explanatory Arthur Penn and the Funky Ten, NYE on the Hill highlight act, Venus Court, Victorian Indie/Pop outfit Swim Season, and Hills’ stalwarts and crowd favourites Fossil Fuel. Twenty-five acts have been announced in total with a ‘Special Guest Comedian’ still to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Secondly, for the first time in the event’s history a limited allocation of tickets has been made available to the good-vibing general public! This is a result of the constant stream of requests The Farmer has been receiving from people wanting to attend who haven’t been able to access to the password and the precedent set by the good-vibing crowd that has attended the past two ‘public’ NYE on the Hill festivals (the sister event of The Hills Are Alive). That said, the event is well on track to selling out for the 8th time in a row, so if you want to secure your place on the hill you’d better get in quickly.

The three-day (two-night) boutique camping and music festival will take place from 2pm Friday 25th March to 4pm Sunday 27th March (Easter Weekend) in the beautifully picturesque rolling hills of South Gippsland (90mins drive from Melbourne).

Tickets to this years’ event are $149 (+bf) each and are available at www.thehillsarealive.com.au, camping is included and, as always, the event is BYO.
