They were one of the most anticipated acts on the Soundwave 2016 bill. When it was cancelled they promised a visit as soon as possible, and good to their word L7 have today announced a headline tour this May.

From 1988 – 1999 they were responsible for some classic rock moments – ‘Shitlist‘, ‘Pretend We’re Dead‘, ‘Everglade‘, ‘Slide‘, ‘Andres‘, to name a few. Their ‘Bricks Are Heavy‘ album is one of the essential recordings of the 1990’s.

Being cited as a mammoth influence on many of the riot grrrl bands of the 90’s, L7 and re-united in 2014, and have been demonstrating exactly why their live performances are iconic.

UPDATE: 7th March, 2016. This tour will now take place in October instead of May. Details below have been updated. Venues remain the same, just the dates have changed.

L7 regret to announce that due to a family health emergency of a private, non-trivial nature, we will have to postpone our upcoming U.S. and Australian tour dates. Although some of the shows were just very recently announced, LIFE HAPPENS and when it does you have to step up and take care of business for the ones you love.
Speaking of some other ones we love (YOU) … this is just a postponement. We plan to see you in 2016, just a few more months down the line. In the meantime, stay tuned here. We will continue to post fun stuff and read your beautiful and sometimes hilarious comments.
Thanks for your understanding!

They’ll visit Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney on this tour.
