Melbourne’s Dead City Ruins are back home for an extensive national tour that kicked off earlier in the month and has them playing in Warrnambool and Adelaide this week.
Having been based in Europe for most of the 2015, playing countless shows to thousands of people, they are now back on home showcasing their fusion of 70’s and 80’s metal musicianship with blues riffage and a punk attitude.
In 2007 the band debuted with their ‘Lost In London’ EP and in 2011 followed it with a debut album ‘Midnight Killer’ and then in 2013 they released a self-titled album.
Multiple European tours have been notched up, sharing stages with the likes of Mastodon, Diamond Head, Orange Goblin, Fozzy, eyehategod, Skid Row and more.
They’ll be back over there after this tour for another stint.
After this week, they have shows in Geelong and Sydney this year before continuing the run through January. Dates and venues below.
