To say Adelaide punk rock trio Grenadiers are off to a flying start in 2015 would be a massive understatement. After being on hiatus for 4 years, the band recently returned with a killer second album, ‘Summer‘ earning them nothing but praise across the board. They secured the coveted triple j Feature Album of The Week, debuted in the Top 20 Carlton Dry Independent Charts, and received rave reviews nationwide.
The band is now excited to drop the second single off the album, titled ‘Wishbone‘, that again sees the band bursting with their trademark energy, and we’ve got the video clip for you to check out below.
Speaking of the clip, vocalist Jesse says;
“The video is an idea our drummer Jimmy came up with, and in true Jimmy style, it’s hilariously odd. It’s somewhere between pantomime and horror, party times and satanic ritual. The party piñatas revenge for all the times they’ve been burst open like so many ruptured appendixes. I don’t want to give too much away so I’ll let you bask in the ridiculous glory that is this video. It involved a lot of fishing wire, simulated drugs and sex, fake blood and puppetry.“
