Topshelf Records and seminal indie-rock band Braid have announced the release of ‘Kids Get Grids,’ the band’s upcoming Record Store Day 7″.
Available on Saturday 18th April at participating stores, the 7″ will feature the title track as well as ‘Because I Am,‘ a cover song originally written by the band Broken Hearts Are Blue.

The 7″ comes on the heels of ‘No Coast‘, Braid’s critically acclaimed album.
After a number of months of writing and a recording session with notable producer Will Yip, Braid released ‘No Coast‘ in 2014. The album represented more of a rebirth of the band than a simple reunion and, as guitarist/vocalist Bob Nanna states, is just a small taste for what’s to come from these four musicians who are continuing to leave an indelible mark on indie music.
