Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and former KsE vocalist Jesse Leach are reteaming for Times of Grace, a brand new band that finds the duo taking a creative left turn, exploring new musical terrain with a heavy-yet-melodic result. "Making this record was something completely new for me. It documents some of the most difficult, yet spirited times of my life in the past three-and-a-half years. A lot of the music and lyrics just came out of me while going through several internal struggles, and writing these songs were the only comfort I could find. I reached out to Jesse to help sing and write these songs with me because of my respect for his musical abilities, and because of our great friendship...one that seems to not change no matter what happens in our lives." says Adam D. The pair are currently in the studio working on their debut, The Hymn of A Broken Man, which is due out November 5 through Roadrunner Records.

Hot on the heels of their sell out run of Killjoy and General Electric album shows, Shihad have now announced dates for their new album tour. 'Ignite' will be released September 24th via Roadrunner Records. Joining them on the tour will be the recently rather quiet Trial Kennedy and Black Devil Yard Boss which features ex-members of Mammal. Their debut EP is out Friday. OPETH LIVE CD/DVD

As part of the ongoing celebration of their 20th anniversary, Sweden’s Opeth are releasing live footage and audio from the band’s recent performance at London’s famed Royal Albert Hall. Titled, 'In Live Concert at the Royal Albert Hall', it is due out on 17th September via Roadrunner Records. The performance includes two sets, the first consisting of the band performing 2000’s now-classic, breakthrough epic, Blackwater Park in its entirety, and the second, a chronologically arranged selection of material from the rest of Opeth’s extensive catalogue, totaling almost three hours of music. It will be available as a Limited Edition Vinyl Box Set, or a 5 disc (2DVD / 3CD) set, or a double DVD set.

THE RED SHORE SET A RELEASE DATE AND HEAD OFF TO THE US

The Red Shore will release their forthcoming album 'The Avarice of Man' on August 27th via Roadrunner Records here in Australia and via Mediaskare in the US and Japan. The album was tracked at Complex Studios by guitarist / producer Roman Koester and is currently being mixed by Jochem Jacobs at Split Second Studios in the Netherlands. The band has been posting studio update videos, you can check those out [Here]. While the album is being mixed the band will head to the US to join Suffokate on a 40+ date tour.

Having just announced their signing to Roadrunner Records for their next yet to be titled album due this September, Shihad have announced a handful of shows where they will be playing their 'Killjoy' and 'The General Electric' albums in full in Sydney and Melbourne. In Melbourne they'll play the Northcote Social Club on 13th (K) & 14th (TGE) August, Sydney will be at the Annandale Hotel on 20th (K) & 21st (TGE) August. Tickets on sale 26th May from the venues.

Cancer Bats will release Bears, Mayors, Scraps and Bones on April 9th through Distort Inc. at home in Canada, with Roadrunner handling the release here in Australia. "This is definitely the best representation of our live sound, we made sure that all of the parts were properly fused together, and that every small section was the way it should be." says singer Liam. ROADRUNNER TO RELEASE NEW COHEED AND CAMBRIA ALBUM

Coheed and Cambria will be releasing their new album Year of the Black Rainbow in April via Roadrunner Records. The New York foursome have developed a unique sound combining forward-thinking classic rock with strong pop sensibilities and intricate musicianship. Simultaneously, through lyrics and comics, they has created a celebrated epic alternate universe called The Amory Wars, in which lies an ongoing conceptual tale that gains depth and complexity with each and every record. The new album will be the “Origin Story” or “The Prequel,” and likely the final story of the ongoing concept story of The Amory Wars. Year of the Black Rainbow is produced by Atticus Ross and Joe Barresi who have helped the band evolve their sound to be more powerful and dynamic than ever. Rise Records and Roadrunner International have teamed up to release Bleeding Through’s upcoming self-titled studio album, due to be unleashed Autumn in Australia and New Zealand. "We're very excited to be teaming back up with Roadrunner, who released ‘The Truth’ (2003) and ‘This is Love, This is Murderous’ (2006) with us previously. Their team is fantastic and the label is legendary." Brandan Schieppati stated. Bleeding Through are touring Australia in March with Machine Head and Hatebreed for the Black Procession Tour.

On the eve of their final shows for the year, and the announcement of a new singer, The Red Shore have now announced that they have inked a deal with Roadrunner Records Australia. Former bassist Jamie Hope, who moved onto lead vocal duties has now departed the band and Chase Butler who has filled in a couple of times now, will be the new permanent vocalist. Last chance to catch the band for the year happens this weekend with two shows at Melbourne's Evelyn Hotel. Friday night is 18+ and Saturday arvo is U18.

To celebrate tomorrow's release of their new album, Congregation of the Damned, Atreyu has created "Metal Head Zombies," loosely based on the original Call of Duty video game. "Metal Head Zombies" is a first person shooter that requires players to protect themselves from zombies who are out for blood and attacking from all directions.
