BAD RELIGION - THE DISSENT OF MAN PRE-ORDERS ARE UP
Posted by Bomber on Tuesday, August 03 @ 13:11:57 CDT (92 reads)
Bad Religion will release 'The Dissent Of Man'
on September 24th. Currently celebrating three decades of influential,
thought provoking and groundbreaking punk rock, this is Bad Religion's
fifteenth studio album. Produced by Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone
Age, Tool), 'The Dissent of Man' finds Bad Religion pushing the
boundaries of their music as much today as they did in their formative
years as a genre defining punk band. Over the course of making the
album, primary songwriters Greg Graffin and Brett Gurewitz's songwriting
was informed by life changing events, with Graffin writing his forthcoming
book "Anarchy Evolution" (out Sept 24) and Gurewitz embarking
on parenthood again. "I feel like the last couple of records
have been amongst our most conservative, never straying too far
from a Bad Religion sound," says Gurewitz. "Whereas
on this one we're taking the songs to a lot of different places,
exploring our influences and trying out some new things in a way
we haven't done in years." You can pre-order your copy
now [Here].

BAD RELIGION ENTER THE STUDIO
Posted by Bomber on Wednesday, June 02 @ 18:20:45 CDT (143 reads)
Three decades after recording their first incendiary
songs as teenagers reared in the budding hardcore scene in Los Angeles,
Bad Religion are marking their 30 year anniversary
with a new record, filled with both the free thinking ire that has
fueled the band from the very beginning, and a certain introspection
that comes only from long-lived experience. Working again with producer
Joe Barresi (Queens Of The Stone Age, Tool), Bad
Religion have entered the studio armed with 16 songs that
are filled with deeply personal experiences, cautionary tales and
a developing worldview, spanning the gauntlet from their signature
high energy punk rock to a more introspective melodic sound.
