The reality of youth depression has inspired The Getaway Plan to reunite for a one off music event.
Revival – This Is Not The End Of Your Story has been put together in partnership with To Write Love On Her Arms, a non for-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide.
Revival is about raising awareness of the TWLOHA movement, aiming to stimulate conversation among young people about mental health issues and empower those struggling with depression with the knowledge that help and recovery is possible.
The Getaway Plan will revive from the shadows and headline two shows at Billboard The Venue on Friday 24th September. This will be their first performance since breaking up in 2009.
Supporting the Melbourne quartet for both shows are local boys Stealing O’Neal, alongside Built On Secrets (U18 only), Secrets In Scale (18+ only) and Cheerleader (both shows).
