HOME
Hometown : We are from Canberra
Hometown is best known for : Probably porno, fireworks and marijuana.
Best venue in your hometown : These days venues are getting pretty slim down here, my favourites to play are Bar 32, ANU Bar and house shows though.

THE BAND
How long has the band been going?

We’ve been together since January ’09 but the idea for the music has been kicking around for quite a while now. Many lineup changes along the way? Not really, our old bass player is currently on holidays and we got ourselves a killer new guitarist a few months ago. So its all good.
How would you describe your sound to the average person on the street?
Bluesy, heavy hardcore with fast parts and slow parts.
What's your most recent release? Tell us a little about it...
Well our debut album ‘I: A Turn for the Worse’ just came out on Common Bond Records, we recorded it over a weekend in February with Jason PC from Blood Duster and its our best music to date, we are all real proud of it.
Got a favourite track that you have released so far?
The Temptress, easiest song to play, catchiest riffs and amazing lyrics haha.

OFF THE STAGE
What was your first introduction to music that made you think seriously about playing it?

My dad showing me KISS, Cold Chisel and ACDC when I was a kid, made me love guitar playing and from then have been hooked.
What was your first band name, and what style did you play?
My first bands name was Echo Inside, we played a horrible mixture of Nu Metal, Thrash Metal, Pop Rock and Death Metal haha
Most prized music related item you own?
My Gibson SG, it is the best instrument I have ever touched in my life, I love it.
The thing you most look forward to just before a tour is...
the prospect of not having to go to work and getting to hang out with some of my best friends.
The thing you least look forward to before a tour is...
rapidly running out of money, not showering, wearing dirty socks and road-food.
When your not doing band related stuff, what are you usually found doing?
Working in a childcare centre, going to the movies more often than I can afford, and listening to Eyehategod.

ON THE STAGE / ROAD
Best rider item you've ever received without requesting it?

Surprise case of beer, ended up being for all the bands at the show, but we drank it before anyone could notice haha
Favourite place you’ve toured… and why?
Toss up between Melbourne and QLD, Melbourne for the amazing food and people, QLD for the weather and Wet n Wild.
Most memorable show you've played? and why?
Probably a rehearsal room show we played in QLD a couple months ago, great people, great times, super hot, cheap beer, was killer.
Worst 'guilty pleasure' artist / song you've come across on a bandmates iPod?
Taylor Swift, no one feels guilty about listening to her though.
Who in your group has the worst “bad habit” on tour, and what is it?
Jake, getting drunk to early or Sam being unreliable haha.

RIGHT NOW
Where are you?

At my mums house using her washing machine, stealing her downloads and watching her foxtel, love you mum.
What's the last song you listened to?
‘If These Walls Could Talk’ by General Surgery, amazing Carcass worship.
Which band or album is currently rockin' your world?
General Surgery ‘Left Hand Pathology’, Cathedral ‘The Carnival Bizarre’ and The Roots ‘The Tipping Point’.
Tell us a band we should all go and listen to right now?
Eyehategod

IF ONLY...
If you could pick any one album to cover from start to finish, what would it be and why?

‘Apocalypse Dudes’ by Turbonegro, because its one of the best classic rock albums that no one who likes classic rock has ever heard.
If you could pick any one band / artist to cover one of your albums from start to finish, what would it be, and why?
Iron Monkey, because they are devastatingly heavy and ridiculously amazing.
If you could pick one band to re-unite so you could play a one-off show with, who would it be, and why?
Sleep, because the way Matt Pike plays guitar makes my hairs stand up, and they are one of my favourite bands and they are amazing.
One big tour, you can take two currently active bands to support you, who would you choose, and why?
Phantoms because they are some of the best dudes ever and The Roots so I could party with the best hip hop crew in the world.
